ART&MIND-Las Meninas - the exhibition

This week we will finally inaugurate the first exhibition organized by ART&MIND project and so I decided to make about the 'stage' preparation.

Abou the project itself and it's purposes, I already have a HP about it that you can check if you want to, so I'll skip presentations.

I must say that the events we organized about Velasquez painting 'Las Meninas' went very well. We had a small conference followed by debate with the audience every month since May . All of them were very interesting, not only, because of the subject that in most cases used the painting as an excuse to speak and think about several art's challenges, but also because of the different public we had.

Of course that when you are working for such a long time in something you hardly wait the day to bring to scene the last materialization of it. This last month was going slowly in that way eh eh eh

BUT today (18/9/2009) is the day.

While some were puting paintings on walls and arranging the elements in the gallery others were making a small film and taking some photos. And we think is a good and light way of presenting some of the works. I must say that I was lucky to work and get to know this group of artist - they are all very different (and you can see that by the works) but they are also long time friends. And this makes all much more pleasant.
